Henri Nordoc Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
The wines from the Nordoc range are made near Narbonne on the Languedoc coast of the Golf de Lion. These varietal wines are great value for money and this 100% Cabernet-Sauvignon is no exception. Grown on gravel and chalk soils, the wine is matured on its lees for 8 months giving up an intense and plummy red that pairs well with blue cheeses in particular.
A deep purple-red in colour. Scents of blackberries and cassis with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, sweet and juicy with finely grained tannins leading to a crisp finish. Great with blue cheese crostini, mushroom stroganoff or smoked onion and Gruyere tart.
